The very name, Tomette D’or, is my favorite blush at present, especially now that the weather is turning cold and there are more occasions to dress up. A gorgeous shade, this is my favorite festive blush for now. Recently, I have been charmed by blushes, and Bourjois has a very comprehensive and extremely good collection. I bought a few, and this is the first one I am going to review. This is one of the first products to become famous from the company and I can totally understand why.
Product Description: With the widest range of the market, Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush is our iconic and timeless product since 1863.

My thoughts : I am extremely happy with the color. Though the pot comes with a mother-of-pearl handled brush, it is mostly useless, and I generally use my favorite Kabuki brush to fan it just under the apple of my cheeks to give my cheeks more definition. Though these baked blushes have been accused of being too difficult to pick up with a brush, I have personally had no trouble blending them with my brush. I also use it on the apple very sparingly to give a naturally rosy flush.
The fallout is minimum, and only if I hit my brush handle hard on the edge of my table. My skin is yellow-tinged and this color goes perfectly with it. It’s a dark peachy rose shade with golden glitters which blends nicely with my cheekbones. I generally use it as my contouring blush, and it works perfectly for night time outings and bridal makeup.
It has a good staying power (about 5-6 hours easily) and the glitters, though quite obvious, are not over the top at all. I will not recommend this for those who are looking for that party look, and wants to look chic without going overboard.
However, a word of caution: moderation is the word for this blush, and learn to be sparing with this. It takes no time to get set, so I must say it’s a great color. It also smells nice, a thing I like. I can totally put it in my purse, and no matter what, it stays put. I have touched up in bathrooms with this, and I can easily blend it in with my fingertips as well.
