If you read my last haul post here, you might have come across my only make up purchase this time and it is the new Revlon Lip Butter. Blame it to the season or my increasing age, I found the Reds to be more appealing than the pinks! I was totally impressed how Candy Apple and Red velvette looked on me! I was pretty tempted to go for these two shades but sadly my pocket permitted only one this time !

What I Love about Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Candy Apple :
- The Color is a pretty reddish coral and gives a sheer coverage.Single swipe gives a slight tint of red and can be easily build up with few more swipes.
- Its not that "in-your face" kind of red or orange which makes it a very wearable option for "Red Lippi Beginners" like me !
- I love the packaging. It has that typical "barfi" (rhomboid pattern) motiff in the case. The shade name and the color code is mentioned
- Has some moisturizing properties.
- Does not bleed.
What I don't Like about Revlon Lip Butter Candy Apple :
- Because of the balmy consistency and sheer effect, if you love the shade too much , it will get over soon
- Price is way above budget range ! 6oobucks fo just 2.55gms
- It fades within 2- 3 hrs of application leaving a faint tint which I like. But I wish this was more long lasting.
- This is not for pigmented lips

Final Verdict : This is definitely not a budget stuff , but I would recommend these Lip butters just for the pretty shades. As of now out for 20, 15 shades are available in India. Candy apple, i think will look really good on Fair to medium skin tones. Am surely picking up Red Velvette next. Its a bit maroon-ish/burgandy-ish red :D
