My take on the FE Bengal Tuberose shampoo:
I am actually in a love-hate relationship with hair cleanserfrom Forest essentails. Though I didn’t like it much during the early uses but gradually after using it for 2-3 weeks, I really started admiring the texture of my hair after a wash.
The shampoo is supposed to add shine to my normal, behaved hair and I supposed it to take care of the dandruff and hair fall issues. These are always some general benefits I desire from a good shampoo. And Forest essentials Bengal Tuberose hair cleanser gave satisfactory results and nothing much spectacular in general.
This is an herbal and mild hair cleanser that can be used twice a week safely. Forest essentials bengal tuberose shampoo cleanses the hair and the scalp thoroughly though it doesn’t lather much. I actually made a mistake of taking more than needed amount during its early usage which resulted in quite dry and brittle hair. So I started oiling my hair a night before washing them and then saw that again I ended my using more shampoo and thus dry hair.
So for later uses, I just used a small (needed) amount of this forest essentials hair cleanser, diluted it in water and washed my hair without worrying much about lather and ta-da, this shampoo worked very well. It gave a sudden bounce and some shine to my bit thin dry hair. I didn’t use any conditioner after it and my hair didn’t weigh down for the next 4 days. Even if I have oiled my hair the previous night, I don’t worry about quantity or lather and the shampoo removes the oil and makes then healthy and bouncy again.
About the dandruff part, my scalp is all clear from the dandruff and there is no itchiness of any kind for 4-5 days. My hair fall is quite controlled though I won’t say it stopped all together (well, I don’t think any shampoo actually can stop hair fall :/).
The hair cleanser comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a tightly attached screw cap. The top is provided with a small hole that allows easy discharge of required amount of product. The Forest essentials bengal tuberose shampoo has a reddish-brown color with quite a nice sweet herbal smell. Overall I’m quite satisfied with the product.

Pros of Forest Essentials Hair Cleanser Bengal Tuberose :
- Completely herbal and mild
- Cleans the hair and scalp effectively even if it doesn’t lather much
- A small amount is needed for my medium length hair and so this 200 ml bottle would easily last me 3-4 months.
- Adds a nice bounce and shine to the hair.
- Keeps the dandruff and hair fall under control
- Smells really nice.
- Easily available online at www.jabong.com
- High price
- If you already have dry, frizzy hair then this shampoo is not meant for you as you may find your hair drier if you use it alone.
My Ratings: 3.75/5
Final Verdict: I quite like this product and would definitely recommend it to all those who have an oily itchy scalp. Girls with thin, normal hair can give it a shot too but use a bit of conditioner after using it to keep the dryness at bay. I want to try a more nourishing cleanser from this range so may not pick it up again.
