Rimmel lasting finish by Kate Moss #20 review & swatches
Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks are the new favorites in the blogosphere. Though these are just available in just 5 shades here still all the shades are quite flattering for the Indian skin tone. Availability is a major concern with these and I myself had to wait more than a month to grab 2 of these ;).
Description: The 1st Lipstick collection created by Kate Moss High intensity colour for up to 8 hours. Formula infused with Black Diamonds, reflects light like never before. Captures all the flair, edge and timelessness of Kate’s unique look.
Price: 250 INR for 4g
My take on the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick #20:
Shade: #20 is a bright blue toned fuchsia pink more of a Barbie's kind of shade. It does work better with cool pink cheeks like I myself use Rimmel Autumn Catwalk or Inglot blush #36 to pair this with. It also immediately brightens up your face and the stained look after the colour fades is very flattering. Use this color as a matte stain or in full effect or top up the stain with a light pink/mauve gloss and you will find this shade quite pleasing on yourself.
Texture: Creamy and smooth and this goes on easily on the lips. It is highly pigmented so be careful if you want just a stained look on your lips. The lipstick won’t bleed or melt in the hot weather so it comes quite handy while travelling or to carry around in your handbag. I had been picking only this pink lately as I quite like the shade and the longevity. The color fades evenly and don’t dry out my lips.
Staying power: It stays on for roughly 5 hours on me with a meal in between. A deep stain is left behind after a meal which eliminates the need for a touch-up.
Packaging: The sturdy matte black case with Kate Moss signature in pink and the embossed Rimmel logo on the cap does look classy, I love it.
