I bought this little Nail Enamel Remover from Inglot’s first store in Mumbai. The sheer size of it caught my attention and I just had to have it. It a product that boasts not only of having good ingredients but of those that it does not contain. Yes! What makes it a winner is what it does not have in it.
What Inglot claims:
DOES NOT CONTAIN: acetone but quickly and effectively removes nail enamel while Calendula oil, vitamin A and E moisturizes
Price: 25 ML for INR 130 and 100 ML for INR 450
Acetone! It does not contain acetone. What is that? Well it is a clear, unpleasant and highly flammable liquid solvent that is strong enough to disintegrate plastic. So, now you know why this ingredient is often the main ingredient in a nail paint remover. It is fast, effective and a little harsh on the nails and skin.
Inglot nail paints do not contain
- toluene
- formaldehyde
- dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
- camphor
Now non-acetone removers came to be with the invention of acrylic nails. Acetone in a polish remover will weaken your extensions and cause them to separate from your natural nail. It’s strength as a solvent is the absolute death of fake nails.
For those of you apply nail polish often you may have noticed that removing glitter polish is painful. It is best removed with an acetone remover. The chemicals in glitter nail polish make it more difficult than other polishes to break down.
My Take :
Now this product nice & effective. It works well on glitter polish as well but since it contains no acetone, it requires a bit of patience. Now the liquid is transparent and does not stain. The little plastic orange bottle that it comes in is very sturdy and travel friendly. You should always keep the bottle upright.
It does not irritate the skin, nor leave any white and dry patches around the nail bed like most removers. It has Calendula oil in it along with vitamin A and E that moisturizes your nails. It leaves my nails in good condition and you require only a small amount which I think is really good.
The smell is the same as all other removers, with acetone or not, HORRID. For those of you who are wondering about its availability, well if you do not have an Inglot store in your city, do not worry you can buy it online from www.majorbrands.in
They also have a Nail Polish Corrector - 4 ML. It is pocket sized pen styled corrector that is perfect for travel and is a fast and efficient way to clean up nail polish mistakes.
Inglot also has the following nail treatments also:
-Cuticle Oil
-Cuticle Removing Gel
-Gro Max
-Nail Whitener
-Ridge Filler
-S-Bond Treatment
-Silk Wrap
-Techno UV Coat
-O2M Breathable Base
-O2M Breathable Top Coat
-An insane amount of nail paint clours.
Pros of Inglot Nail Enamel Remover:
- Inglot does NOT TEST ON ANIMALS.
- Well known, high quality brand
- Does not contain harmful ingredients
- Affordable
- Does an efficient job
- Removes all kinds of polish with ease
- Bottle chic and cute
- Bottle is travel friendly
- Available in 2 sizes
Cons of Inglot Nail Enamel Remover:
- You can only buy it online or from Inglot stores in select malls in select Indian cities
My Rating :4/5 from me
Final Verdict :I would definitely recommend this enamel remover. It is worth the price and does not contain acetone. It does what it promises and keeps your fingers looking and feeling good.
